Princesses don't normally have sticky hair.
They might though if they explore a cave & by chance walk through a spider web.
Dragons don’t breath fire unless someone needs a marshmallow toasted.
Mermaids don’t dare wonder on land unless their friends are having tea.

Why would unicorns wear boots?
Why would fairies do homework?
What about brownies?

Why don’t children like going to be?

I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.

An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) fairy tale storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great fairy tale movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

" Princesses Don' t have Sticky Hair" is an endearing tale for young children. The illustrations are well done, colorful and engaging. Small children will giggle when they see that princesses normally don't have sticky hair, or other problems, but what are the exceptions? Do spider webs make a princesses hair sticky? How are marshmallows roasted in the book? Little folks will smile at the various situations depicted in this book. I thought the illustrations were delightful and engaging. The story seemed a bit short, but still entertaining.

What an adorable, short bedtime story! While you may not be able to tell by the title, this book explores how some magical people and creatures don't do or have a particular thing unless it’s a particular circumstance. Some made me laugh out loud, which I always love in a children's book. I think my favorite was the dragons not breathing fire around company. The next page was such a surprise. The book is very well Illustrated. Sometimes we just see figures and other times full-page Illustrated spreads. The figures and backgrounds are detailed, beautiful, and evocative of fantasy. The final question-and-answer leads right into bedtime. An absolutely charming book.

This was a really short story about a princess, unicorn, dragon, etc. A bunch of two-liners. It was okay, but only because I got it for free.

Really cute take on the the mythical of fairy tales. Appreciated the “breaking down stereotypes” approach. The writing is simple, clear, and clever. And the illustration detail and color brings the fantasy alive.

I love the illustrations, they are classic but engaging for kids. The text is easy to read and understand. It is a good book if you like fantasy creatures.

A wonderful series of reversals of expectation, with enchanting illustrations. As proper as princesses, brownies, dragons, and unicorns may usually be, they all like to explore and get a little messy sometimes.
