As I began reading Dream Again, the story of Gianna, Carter, along with their friends and family captured my attention. Having both suffered losses in the past, the immediate chemistry between the two pulled me into their story. But the more important point resulted from their faith in God and reliance on Him and His Word.

Sometimes we need a reminder from God to wait on Him and follow where He leads. The inclusion of writing books, the publishing world, the power and connection of family, praising God through song and music, and more play a vital role in this book. The pace of this book provides the perfect “quick but powerful” book to read. I look forward to reading the next books in this series.

This book provides so much in the way of God’s goodness, mercy, love, and grace. The fact we need to rely on God shines through the pages. Truly read and savor this book. So check out this book for yourself.

I do think Carter should’ve said something about who he was, especially since she worked with him and their relationship was picking up but I also think Gianna was letting the enemy get in her head. I loved the premise and message behind this story, God does change lives and heal hurts. However, l found that Gianna was an undeveloped character and the chemistry between her and Carter was weak and unbelievable in some parts of the story. It didn't go deep enough and was stilted in some areas. While l did root for her and wanted her to get her man, l spent a lot of the story hoping she would just grow up.
