I thought this is crazy that Kamden has cameras in the house and was spying on Ella and Zander. I know that Zander has problems stemming from his relationship before with Quincy and Ella has problems beginning from childhood with her father and mother. The death of Ella's husband James is what they are saying sent her over the edge. I don't know if that is truth, with all that we are finding out about her childhood. Ella and Zander are suppose to be a forbidden romance but we all know how that goes. Zander seems to know what it takes to help Ella, thus changing his own life in the process. There are hidden stories behind that cause so much drama in their own lives. I am hoping that with the last of the Discreet Series that we will be able to see how this plot will come to fruition. I love Ella even though she is a rich spoiled young lady. Zander on the other hand is Dominant in every way. The gorgeous brother of Cade and a member of the Firm, his emerald eyes with amber surrounding them can command Ella to do things she thinks she wants to do, even if she really doesn't know what she really wants. Love the story and it was more than a good read it was wonderful.

Why do people spend their precious lives hurting? Sander and Ella are one ducked up pair! He is still beating himself up over a sub he did not love whole he is busy looking someone he does. Ella is repeating bad behavior, because that is what she has done in the past. Can they find themselves and each other? Now we have to wait and see!

Zander & Ella’s story continues where Book 1 ended. This is a challenging story for Ella’s character. Zander has similar issues. Zander got fired from The Firm for crossing the line with their client, Ella. He can’t leave her life because she depends on him being her Dom. Grief is extremely hard for some people, and sometimes guilt goes along with that. This story is extremely complex where the mind is concerned, but easily understood. This story is also very informative about the issues Ella has. There is a cliffhanger at the end. Can’t wait to find out how this all comes together in the conclusion. I highly recommend this book.

Phew these two are hot and both are also a hot mess. I get why they are-both experienced great loss. But together they are slowly finding a new normal.

Elle is working very hard on opening up more but it’s hard. Working on yourself is hard work, it exposes things you don’t want exposed.

Zander is intrigued and curious about all things Elle. More questions arise in this book that I know will be answered in the final book.

Zander seems to know what it takes to help Ella, thus changing his own life in the process. There are hidden stories behind both that cause so much drama in their own lives. These leads to problems and misunderstandings in their relationship.
This is the second book in the series and it too ends on a cliffhanger. Even though cliffhangers leave me in distress I suggest you read this one now.

Can’t wait for the next installment in this series.
