Review

4 out of 5 Stars Loved it! 😍An intense and, at times, gritty read. Not quite a romance, but getting there, between 2 adults with their own success and thick passion.

I usually stick with authors that I am familiar with, but this new author right here has me hooked and can't wait for Book 2. Vin and Nikki... wow. At first I had a few issues with Nikki and felt that she was a little bougie. But all it took was a determined Vincent to tear down the wall to her heart. Vin is the epitome of a black alpha male. I just loved this book and waiting anxiously on book 2... can we get it before April? LOL.

Nikki is a top-notch cardiac practitioner. Her career was her life, and there was no room for men, much less love. She goes to a night club, where she meets the alluring Vin, the owner and successful entrepreneur. Vin was a man that always got what he wanted and he wanted Nikki.

Nikki should’ve give Stalker Guy—this Vincent Black—a moment of her time, but, damn, did he resuscitate a carnal need she didn’t know she had. But, no, she didn’t have time for that. Of course, she could do worse than the hottest, sexiest, richest bachelor in Chicago (and she has.) Meanwhile, Vin was battling other things like his warehouse being used a drug ring, his partner backstabbing him, and his mother’s failing health. The biggest obstacle for him was winning Nikki’s heart in this war.

Full of romance and suspense. The only downside is the cliffhanger, but it definitely makes me want to continue the next book in this series.

A tantalizing read!

Great Read especially for someone in the medical field. Some may say Nikki maybe a bit materialistic but what’s wrong with that. Can’t wait to learn about her character in book 2!

The begining was very cliche. Beautiful perfect independent woman meets beautiful perfect in achievable rich playboy who gives up his playing ways and falls in love with her without knowing anything about her except she looks good and sex is good. This book is not for cynics. But the ending does leave you longing for more. The Erotic sections were arousing.

I love this book! Very suspenseful with a romance element. Vincent is bae and I can't wait to see what happens with him and Nicole next.

I loved this book! It was so intense and intriguing! I’ll admit, I was a little disappointment because it ended on a cliffhanger. I was to know how the story ends.
Nikki is a strong successful women who Mets Vincent, an equally successful man. I loved that the female was just as successful as the man.

I really enjoyed all the characters in this book, Nikki was actually my favorite, she has flaws, but that's what makes her real. The ending was perfect!

I don't know if this book was actually meant to be funny but the saccharine and cheese levels made it hilarious. The writing is fine other than some amusingly wrong vocabulary and a enough typos to trip the squint-and-double-take meter.

Ok, it wasn't really my thing but it could have been a lot worse. And it was interesting to broaden my horizons by reading something that at least one person thinks there's a demand for.
