What hurts the most...

This is the second novel with Dex the handsome billionaire and Shelby the ultimate commitment phobe... at least in this story. I have to say that this is the first series that I have read where both the h and the H had an adverse reaction to commitments. Dex has a known background in facts, science and rational thinking... love was just inconvenient and had too many variable that made it seem unstable... let us not talk about being a geek who really was not taken seriously in high school but that could not have anything to do why he is leery of commitments... right???

Shelby has had more run ins with her adverse reaction to commitments that she could lose everything that she has worked so hard for. It does not help when your bread and butter is based on the wedding industry. Shelby has a big heart and loves love and every thing attached to it... meeting your perfect man, getting to know one another, falling in love and even receiving the emblem of commitment... the engagement ring. It is a no brainer why so many people want to get married but what is it that make marriage work??? One thing for sure... having an ex-fiancee' in the hot seat with the law has definitely put a damper on a fledgling new fake relationship that feels real... I mean what else can happen!?!?!

With a cast of friends and family who are cheering and helping this fake couple to realize that what they have just may be real makes this story a great read with mystery, laughs and the cutest Corgi and Auggie that one can read. This is a story you can marinate on and please take your time it gets better as it goes along...

Shelby was drunk in Las Vegas and almost got married. The groom handed her a Corgi pup, but she got cold feet and ran back through the casino, where Dex helped her get things for the pup. Later on, Bella the Corgi and Charlie, the dog Dex has decided to get frisky and they are having pups. The Las Vegas ex-groom finds her and everything starts to break apart. The laughs and the banter in this book will keep you smiling. That characters are lighthearted and interesting. It is a comedy of miscommunication, twists and perceived ideas and untruths, while real truths come out and cause even more issues. This book is crazy from the word GO, and very delightful. Definitely worth the read. The one thing holding them all together..... the dogs.

Well this is more of Dex and Shelby oh let's not forget Bella.
Two years ago Dex met a runaway bride holding a corgi puppy in a Las Vegas.
Two years ago Shelby was about to marry for a crazy reason and love was not it.
But the jilted groom is back and he wants Bella. She was a wedding gift after all and since the wedding never took place Jesse sees this as way to get something from Shelby. But that cant be all he is after I mean it would not have anything to do with her relationship with Dex now would it?
It does not help that Bella is pregnant either. Dex has a difficult time with the new about Jesse. How does this genius take it and is as suspicious as I was

The second book in the series. The man who gave Shelby her Corgis finds her and wants the dog back. Shelby is in a mess. Dax wants to help her. She wants to do it on her own. Shelby loves her dog and doesn't want to give the dog back. She does whatever she needs to, to keep her dog. Dax doesn't remember the first time he met Shelby. She gets a Private Investigator and finds videos. Shelby wants to suprise Dax with them. In order to keep her dog she made the decision to appear on Jesse's show. Will Shelby and Jesse fall back in love? Will Shelby and Dax stay together? Bella goes into labor. The puppies are coming. What will the puppies look like? You must read this book!
