Out of the Gold: Enemies-to-lovers movie star romance (The Hunte Family Series Book 3) Kindle Edition
Can the leading man win his costume designer’s heart—or will
their happily ever after crash and burn
like something straight out of a Hollywood tragedy?
Chase Wright
Hollywood’s golden boy.
Way hotter than he has any right to be.
And more cocky than all movie stars-combined.
He was just the impatient ass she was supposed to sew into the superhero costume. Getting to know him was never part of her plan. Starting to like him wasn’t, either. Giving him way too much of herself? Potential disaster. Especially when his next role crashes against her deep-seated vulnerabilities.
Melody Hunte
Daughter of rock royalty.
Assistant costume designer extraordinaire.
Possibly the woman of his dreams … before he ruined everything.
All he wanted was to be taken seriously as an actor—to be seen as more than a pretty-boy “movie star.” The audition was forgotten before it even ended. It didn’t mean anything. But as it turns out, Melody does mean something. She’s everything. She’s golden. Now all he has to do is fix the giant mess he made before he loses her for good.
Arell Rivers ninth novel, OUT OF THE GOLD, is a full-length standalone, and book three in The Hunte Family Series. It follows rock star Braxton Hunte’s daughter, Melody, as she navigates life and love after being raised by the rock icon.

About the author
For as long as USA Today Bestselling author Arell Rivers remembers, she has been lost in a book. During her senior year in college, she picked up a romance novel … and instantly was hooked.
She started writing her first novel, No One to Hold, because the characters were screaming at her to do so. The story started coming out in Arell’s dreams and attacking her in the shower, so she took to the computer to shut them up. But they kept talking.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Arell has what some may call a “checkered past.” Prior to discovering her passion for writing romance, she practiced law, was a wedding and event planner and even dabbled in marketing. She lives with 2 shelter cats and a very supportive husband who thankfully doesn't care if the bed isn't made or the laundry isn't done. When not in her writing cave, Arell can be found making dinner in the InstantPot, working out with Shaun T or hitting the beach.
She hopes you enjoy her stories about driven men, strong women and the passions that ignite!

The Lead Costume Designed that Melody worked with was given the opportunity to work on the latest Superhero movie in a trilogy. The movie was being filmed in Italy and she took Melody and another associate with her. During the filming, Melody developed an intricate stitch to use on the inner leg seam of the hero's costume, as a result, Melody had to stitch Chase, the leading man, into the bottom half of his costume everyday. This process took about 2 hours every morning.
Melody and Chase do not hit it off very well in the beginning. Melody dislikes Chase because they grew up in the same neighborhood and his younger sister made her school years a living hell. Chase thinks Melody is a stuck up bitch because she tries to maintain a professional attitude. You guessed it.... Melody and Chase begin to talk and discover things they have in common and begin to see each other off the set. While most of the film crew is very sick with some flu-like bug, Chase and Melody go away together "to escape the bug". They have great adventures.
The characters in this book are well developed and so easy to love. The story is wonderful with twists and turns and of course a HEA. This book is another great read by a wonderful author. It is not necessary to have read her earlier books to enjoy this one but be warned..... if you haven't read them yet.... you will want to after reading this one.
I liked Chase's 'narration' of chapters.
Chase's real name is Charles, and Melody prefers to use that instead of his actor moniker. The name Charles always puts me in mind of pompous englishmen, so my mind came out of the story every time Melody called him Charles.
Its a good plotline.
She wants nothing more than to make a name for herself on her own as a costume designer, without help from her father’s famous name. She is more than her fathers daughter!
She gets the opportunity to work as lead costume designer on lastest superhero movie where she meets Chase , Hollywood’s cocky golden boy (although she knows him from the past, grew up in the same neighborhood and his younger sister made her high school years hell) so they already have presumptions and dislikes about each other right off the bat. So you get plenty of great back and forth banter, push and pull, and might I add hot hot sex scenes. Never a disappointment there. Melody and Chase are perfect together! I also loved how most of the story took place in Italy, Arell did a awesome job bringing the beautiful scenery to life and bringing the readers along for the journey!
Total recommend this read, can be a standalone but you’re missing out if you don’t check out book 1 and 2. I just love getting little pieces and updates from previous characters in the each book. Also loved that there is a bonus epilogue, I give even more bonus point for getting to read what happens next for Melody and Chase!! Who doesn’t love getting more!

Set largely on the romantic Amalfi Coast the two find an attraction to each other, one that takes many twists and turns. Can these two lonely and somewhat broken people find their HEA with each other or are they ultimately too damaged by their pasts to truly trust the other. To find out grab the book and follow Melody and Chase's story, you will fall in love with them. This is the 3rd in the series and can be read alone but honestly I urge you to grab the other books and meet the other Hunte family members, you will not regret it.
Melody being a seamstress and costume designer was such a different twist that I haven't read before, but I loved reading about her knowing she had an interesting connection to Chase or "Charles" and how she felt about having a famous father and not wanting to ride his coattails so to speak and make a name for herself completely seperate from her father, which Melody is very vocal about considering the past she has endured with certain people.
She does get a bit hung up on this issue, which eventually leads to a blow up with Chase and all I wanted to do was grab her by the shoulders and shake her and tell her to LISTEN lol. But I loved that I felt connected to the story and the characters and watch them fall in love despite their differences in careers and journeys and lifestyles.
Another fabulous read from Arell, but King is still my favourite :P
Although this is the 3rd book in the Hunte Family series, it was easy to dive right in. The story of Melody and Chase stands up on its own - you really don't have to read the previous two books in the series, but I have to say, it makes you want to!! I can't wait to get my hands on them!
Set in Italy's Amalfi Coast, this gorgeous, swoon-worthy story has all the feels. I love that Melody is a strong-minded, hard-working woman who knows what she wants to achieve. Her father is Braxton Hunte - a rockstar god - which makes her fight harder to be recognised in her own professional field. It also makes her cautious of those around her. Do they want to be part of her life or get to know her Rockstar dad?
Chase Wright is a Hollywood heartthrob who yearns for something more than the bright lights of Hollywood. With Melody by his side, he can reach for the stars. She gives him the self-belief to go for his own goals and achieve his dream.
But all is not well. There's trouble ahead, so is their new found love, strong enough to take the rough with the smooth? Can they really get through anything together? You'll have to read it and see.
I thoroughly recommend this swoon-worthy love story. A well deserved 5 stars from me!!
