Stolen by the Wind Dragon Prince: Dragon Shifter Romance (Elemental Dragon Warriors Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars 294 ratings

Our colonization ship crashed, stranding us on a strange new world. To make matters worse, my best friend disappeared while scouting the area near our crash site. In my search to find her, I’m stolen by a dragon—a creature straight out of every fairy tale book I’d ever read as a child. He takes me back to his kingdom and I’m shocked when he shifts into a man—a fierce Drakarian warrior. He claims that I am his fated one—his Linaya.Despite my protests, he refuses to let me go—and I cannot deny that I’m drawn to him in ways I do not understand. The more time we spend together, I begin to wonder: what would it be like to be fated to a dragon?Author’s Note: Each book in the Elemental Dragon Warriors series can be read as a standalone romance, but it is recommended to read them in order to enhance the reading experience.

This is the third book I have read where the Drakonian dragons/shifters meet and find a fated mate amongst the earth women.
Its beautifully written and beyond plausible when you understand the ways of these dragon princes and their people. It is not hard to believe that in the near future earth becomes so toxic people jump to the stars hoping to find a new home.
The world of the Drakonian people is complex and extremely intense, but they seem to be the perfect embodiment of part alien and part human so that as a race humans didn't expect to encounter they are definitely part Drakonian and part human.
The authors have done any amazing job in creating the fantastic world of the Dakonian including the political unrest and the divisions between the four clans. One thing that filters throughout this whole storyline is how importantly Skye's view is to Raiden, the prince of the wind clan.
Skye met Raiden through a nasty encounter with a male from her crew who had tried to force himself on her but Raiden interfered protecting Skye at all costs, as much as she tries to deny the feelings that he brings up in her she has to admit to herself that maybe the way the gods have helped the Drakonian people by letting them know who their fated mate maybe, humans as a whole could possibly benefit from a belief in a desire that creates nothing but safety and happiness between a couple.
Her natural instinct is to deny his request to have her as his mate but she cannot deny the pull he has on her.
Superbly written, the individual powers each individual clans has gives them a perfect barrier allowing them to be similar yet the same, the variations of character and personalities within the human women balance beautifully with the characteristics of different Drakonian males from different clans.
If you love reading about the paranormal world with the lives of new and exciting people/shifters, then you're going to find this book extremely hard to put down. I couldn't put it down until I knew of the outcome of these two amazing people, love seems to do wonders throughout the galaxy. A terrific storyline and one that can run into an intense yet enticing series.

I'm loving this series. Its a fun and easy read about humans whose escape pod landed on this planet and they soon realize that there are dragon shifters that live on this planet. Soon all the dragon clans want to meet the females that landed on there planet and one by one each of them are finding their true mate.

I like the Wind Dragon Prince, he was sweet, relentless, and loyal once he found his mate. She didn't think he was serious but after he takes her away, They spend a lot of time together and she soon realizes that she has fallen in love with him.

❤Dragon shifters
❤H is a human
❤OTT Mate
❤Mate bond
❤Slow burn

Skye and Raidyn

So you know in the first book Lilliana disappeared. Well Skye, is her best friend and when looking for her. Well she was with another guy named John only she did not see what John had planned. Well while Raidyn was out searching to find what fell out of the sky he comes across both Skye and John and sees what he is trying to do. So he swoops down to help her and John tries to kill him. He sweeps her away to his castle. However, he gets this feeling that she is more to him. He knows that she is his is fated. However his mark does not glow. Will it happen? Now Skye does not get special treatment because something happens to Raidyn and they automatically blame her because she is different. This does not go well until Raidyn gets healed and can say what he needs to say. Now that the Drakonian know that they are compatible with humans, this is a game changer for them. This little piece of information drives his cousin to do something insane. So what does this mean for the other humans that were stranded on the fire clan lands. Well Raidyn needs to figure out how to convince Skye she is meant for him and to stop his cousin from doing something stupid. Can he do it in time? Will Skye come around and or continue fighting the feelings she has for Raidyn. This is a great follow up in this series.

if youre into repeated phrasing, situations, declarations, and zero imagination, then this series is for you.

there are few technical errors. i tried to give this series an honest attempt, but the complete lack of variation, right down to the sexual encounters, just no no no. read at your own expense.

This book was even more exciting than book one. Raiden from the Wind Clan is a little hot-headed but extremely caring toward his fated mate Skye. Now if only he can get his father to see things his way. But after the loss of his mother, his father, the king, isn't exactly totally sane.
We have seen the fire and wind clans, next is water, yeah!!!

This time, we get to see what’s going on with the politics within the wind dragon clan. So if you liked the previous one, the romance in this one isn’t all that different. Writing and world-building were both excellent.

Nitpick comments: The hero has a different backstory, but personality-wise, he’s remarkably similar to Varus from the previous book. They’re both good people that lead well and have some small insecurities. I never got a good idea of Skye fell in love with him. He lists all these reasons why he likes her personality...but she just talks about how devoted he is? It felt like she was in love with the relationship, not him.

Skye is recovering from her brother’s death, and when she was first introduced, I really sympathized with her a lot. But, in this book I had a little trouble connecting with her. We don’t hear about her job after the first chapter, and the glances we get at her interests are pretty minor. Both main characters felt like generic good people.

Spoiler alter!!!!! I love the floating islands an the water falls that falls from island to island. Was a little put off with Skye an her fated mate issues. As if he did love her for who she was. Oh well. Also well. She was a good person. Hope you all like this one , I did. ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY

I found this story heart warming and interesting. A relief from the many stories where women are abducted and mistreated by Alien males. I would recommend this story for anyone who doubts that there are good males in existance!

Humans fled a dying Earth, only for their colony ships to be attacked before they reached a new home. After crashing into a planet, Skye’s friend goes missing. While searching for her, Skye is attacked by one of the human men. She’s rescued by the Wind Dragon Prince.

Brilliant story that builds on the world created in the first book.

Loved this second book in this series. The developing relationship between Raidyn and Skye is written beautifully and is full of intense possessiveness but also love.
