The Bonding Race: A Fantasy Adventure Novelette Kindle Edition
Sixteen-year-old outcast Kaida is sick of their prejudice. No dabnor has ever Bonded with a dragon, so winning her town’s annual dragon-Bonding race should prove she’s human. She has spent years learning the ins and outs of the race. Now she’s old enough to compete, but all her planning will be useless if they refuse her entry.
As the town debates shutting her up for good, she makes an alliance with a charismatic stranger to seize the opportunity she so desperately craves.
Action and adventure feature prominently in this fantasy novelette for young adults.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2023This is the second novella I have read by Lynn Renard. I love her world building, characters, plots and voice. I would say it's easy to get lost in her worlds but they are too short to truly get lost, which is honestly my only complaint. I would love to see her stories more fleshed out into a full length novel because they truly are fantastic.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 2021A fun, and short little fantasy, with a few twists and turns. Introducing you to a race of magic people called dabnors, and interact with humans, elves and dragons...
