    Gloria is a producer/director, author, speaker and co-founder of En'val Entertainment. She most recently produced and co-directed the feature film, "Tulsa" starring John Schneider that released in theaters in 2020. In addition to her work in film, Gloria and her husband released their third book titled, “I Can’t Help the Way I Feel?” in September 2021. Previously authored books include “CounterCulture Marriage”, its accompanying workbook and a children’s board book titled “The Lord’s Prayer for Kids.”

    Gloria’s heart and passion is to communicate the counter-cultural truths on life, leading as a female, marriage and the pursuit of a higher calling. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and their three young children.

This is a must read! Especially given the times we're in, Robert & Gloria boldly take on one of the most difficult human struggles - Allowing God to sit on the throne of our emotions. Wonderful marriage insights, and I love that they identify one of the main culprits in complicating the struggle, the culture we live in. They're also powerfully vulnerable in this book, it was a comfort to my own soul to know that we're all in these same struggles together. Even Pastors endure these struggles! One of my favorite quotes of the book - 'We must choose to turn towards holiness despite what's natural.' That's an amazing insight! God knows our weaknesses, like a good father, he empathizes and is so patient with us. As long as we just keep turning toward holiness, He'll do the rest! Buy this for everyone you know, especially those that you know are in the midst of these battles! God will use this book to challenge them and provide wisdom and comfort on the journey to victory!

This book has such wonderful content! The authors really understand the temptation for people to be defined today by so many other things than who God says they are. This book is priceless in better understanding how to take control of deceiving thoughts and emotions. It is easy to understand, relatable, and definitely challenging - in the best kind of way. This is a go-to book that I can use when I am struggling to overcome deceitful thoughts and emotions by following some practical steps. Emotional and spiritual maturity is a process no doubt, but I feel that having this book in my hand earlier in life would have helped me gain a better grasp on how take control of my mind, will, and emotions by applying the truth of God's Word.

This was such a powerful quick read! There’s so much truth contained in a few short chapters that will leave you feeling empowered and equipped to step into God’s truth and take control of your emotions. The applications taught in this book will truly change your life if you put them into practice. The authors are witty, real and relatable. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to gain a better understanding to why they feel the way they feel and how they can “feel” better and live a happier, more productive life.

I loved and truly enjoyed everything about this book -great study guide also. This is a little book that grows and can be studied and shared -however not my personal copy-I am ordering 12 more copies today to bless others as I have been blessed.
