If I were sitting in Santa’s lap, telling him what I want for Christmas, it would be more of these grumpy, recluse age-gap daddy stories. Lights my chimney up, Santa!

I’m making my way through this multi-author Christmas series. This one is in my top 3. It’s sweet and dirty and then sweet again. I wish it were longer so I could continue to enjoy the story.

This is the first book I’ve read from this author, but I think I’ll be binging everything in her catalog over my Christmas vacation. The tropes are right up my alley, but I also liked their writing style.

NOTE: as I said, I love OMYW and daddies. I’m not crazy about DDlg stories though. This story is comfortably within the limits of what I like, but just be aware if you’re completely opposed to a little daddy kink.

This was a quick read and very enjoyable with just enough of the Daddy kink that wasn’t super over the top. Ford is the grumpy “old man” that takes care of the lighthouse, and has kept others at arms length and refused to entertain any woman. Till his best friends daughter, Neely, opens up about her desires for him. She’s 19 and he’s about 40, and it’s all consensual. The spice in this is fantastic and it seems like the further I get into this series, the more well written they are than the previous one. This can be read as a stand-alone and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who may not be a huge fan of the “Daddy/Little” kink like myself.
