This book gives you a first-hand account of how I have built an actual content writing business.

Not to gain any sympathy, I have cerebral palsy with more than 85% physical disability. I cannot move without a battery-operated wheelchair. I cannot use both my hands. I just use one finger to type. Does it matter? I think my disability is a part of who I am and how I have built my business and how I have approached this book.

I have mentioned my disability because despite all the hurdles and hardships you may encounter, even with my limited, very limited, movement, I have been able to create a successful content writing business by maintaining my visibility and learning to write exactly what is needed by the clients.

It is not a step-by-step guide, the book. It is not even instructional. I haven’t made big claims. I’ve just described what I did, what I didn’t do, and what I should have done. All the needed steps are there. They are useful. The key is the execution.
How fast and how successful your content writing business becomes, it depends on how persistent you are.

There are many things I have mentioned in the book that I should have done what I didn’t do.

When you read this book, it will be like someone is sitting in front of you and describing his entire journey. Again, no big claims. The sole purpose is to give you a real-world perspective of how, if you want to, you can build your own content writing business.

Succeeding in a business, no matter what business you are contemplating, depends on many factors. For example, if you want to launch a content writing business, you should need to know different aspects of writing web content. Without knowing how to write web content, you cannot create a successful content writing business.

To deliver high quality content to your clients you will need to know how to use the right tools. You will also need to know the right technology to manage your online business or to maintain your online visibility.

As I have mentioned in the beginning of this intro, some of the suggestions offered in the book may be applicable to you, some may not be.

I have also committed lots of mistakes. I have mentioned those mistakes so that you don’t commit them.

There are many things that I did right, and many things wrong, while building my content writing business.

Of course, I haven’t covered everything because that would have increased the size of the book a lot and it would have become difficult to read the entire book.

Nonetheless, I have provided enough information to at least help you start your content writing business through the first-hand account of someone who has created a content writing business and who has sustained this business now for almost 2 decades.

By profession I am a content writer and by passion I am a writer. In fact, the biggest reason why I keep getting work from my clients – from all over the world – is because I don’t write like a typical content writer. I write like a writer.

I love fiction, especially supernatural. Not necessarily horror, but bordering to eerie.
