Hands down my FAVORITE book of the series!!!! I loved Griffin and Nadia. I’ve never cried with a book before but Chapter 39 had me shedding a tear or two! My heart was feeling everything along with these two. AND THE SPICE! Don’t even get me started. 10/10 would recommend! One thing I enjoy about Elsie Silver’s books is that the smut is so good, but there’s also plot to back it up that has me feeling so invested in the characters. She really knows how to make me fall in love with their stories and have me rooting for them. I can’t say a single negative thing about Elsie’s work. Overall impression of the series… DO IT NOW!

This book was adorable and so incredibly swoon worthy! The bonus scene was absolutely perfect & I love that each book has had a little bit about all the couples in this universe! I love the way we get to know how everyone at gold rush ranch (and cascade acres) turns out! Absolutely beautiful stories! Every single one of them! This story was about two people healing together but also supporting each other while they healed separately as well. The way Griffin would do literally anything for Nadia was adorable. I’m sad to see this series end but really loved all the books in it! I especially loved that they all got a happily ever after! Can’t wait to see what this author comes up with next!

Elsie you surely saved the best for last. I have adored this entire series, but this book has been cemented into my heart from the very first chapter.

I read this entire series in preparation for the exceedingly popular Chestnut Springs. It was an excellent introduction to Elsie Silver and honestly throughout the series the writing, characters, and plots grew so much.

Elsie plays with many popular troupes and writes these humorous and well thought out characters that just GIVE. I adore this series and I have no doubt that I will continue to love and enjoy the writing and stories of Elsie Silver.

This one was cute and steamy. Age gap isn’t my favorite trope but I thought that it was done well. Griffin was cute and his story was different. I really wish I got more from them both though. Griff was the washed up “it” boy and a former Super Bowl Champ. It just didn’t feel like it at all. I don’t know what was missing but it just didn’t feel real to me. I also was left wanting more from Nadia. Her story was tragic but didn’t feel fleshed out. It sounds bad but I wanted more trauma. I wanted to know more about her story not just that there was one. We never got below the surface for her and I think it would have added so much to her story arc. Silver is a go to author for me so while I was a little disappointed with this one, I WILL be reading everything else she ever writes!

2 characters with tortured pasts have the best chemistry and banter

Oh boy! After finishing the previous book and getting a taste of what was to come, I was excited to see what Griffin and Nadia were going to give. I knew it was going to be an age gap and brother's best friend, but it gave so much more. Dark and tortured pasts with both characters had both Nadia and Griffin biting at the bit and longing for things they didn't think they could have.

Nadia Dalca is the younger sister to a previous character in a story, Stefan Dalca. She has seen a lot in her short life, so she always seemed older beyond her years. She was a bit of a spitfire and liked to play with fire, but also holds back because of her past. Meanwhile, Griffin has lived a life that was rough because of choices he had made. Now he seems to be the town grump and a bit of a recluse. But for some reason, he made friends with Stefan, therefore becoming a part of a group of friends that become family. And within that group is a woman that brings out a growly alpha. Nadia and Stefan have this undeniable chemistry that began with a kiss that neither of them can get out of their heads, even though it was 2 years ago.

Man, I loved watching Nadia and Stefan having some undeniable chemistry that turned into trying to stay away from each other, then into a close proximity situation where they can't deny the electricity that runs between them. They fight every little bit of attraction they have and it's fun to see the banter back and forth. You almost have to laugh at them because you just know what it's going to boil down to. But it's not only the banter. They also have this "like seeking like" and really understanding who each other is on the inside. Their emotional level of connection wasn't seen at first, but I could feel it through Nadia and how mature she was. And their "grand gestures" of showing they understand what each other needs? Perfection!!

If you haven't read this series yet, now is the time. If you've read Elsie Silver's Chestnut Springs series and want more cowboy/ranch life romance, you gotta give this series a go.
Great characters. Wonderful found family. Some forbidden goodness. Secrets. Undeniable chemistry and all the banter!! You can't miss.

This was such an easy do fast read. I love anything Elsie silver writes. Nadia comes to the gold rush ranch with childhood trauma & really just looking for someone to love her the way she sees her brother de there friends loving there significant others. She was such a lover girl. And griffin comes as a grumpy recluse who has a little bit of stutter that makes him a man of few words.
He has a tough exterior but he also just wants love. I adored both of them so much.

This was the first Elsie Silver book I ever added to my TBR, and has now completed by read of her backlist!

Oh these two! Something about Griffin and Nadia together is just so wonderful.
These two had a fun first meeting, and I loved the time jump-they both still thought of the other often (much to their own dislike).
Both of these characters had trauma in their past…I found they worked so well together, understanding and support made for such a wonderful dynamic and a comfort between them.
Loved the facets of Nadia, and her resolve-knowing what she wants in life and trying her best to achieve it, hardworking and so strong. Griff is so sweet and caring, but he has his own demons he needs to face, and I loved watching his journey and growth.

These two are drawn to each other even though they fight the connection. They think they can’t act on the feelings for various reasons which add some fantastic tension! I really enjoyed their chemistry and emotional connection, I also think these two were the steamiest of the bunch!

I loved the character development in this story, and these two just melted my heart. This one brought the most emotion of the series, and what a wonderful way to end it off. Your heart went out to both of these characters, they are exactly what they each needed.

I am sad that this series had come to an end, but it was absolutely worth the read! I love this authors writing!
