This is the final book in the series End Days. The has very relatable characters that are well developed and held my attention from page 1 until the end. I wanted more as I finished each book but this one ended marvelously by tying up all the loose threads and completing an action-packed storyline. I highly recommend it as well as all of the works by the very talented author, E. E. Isherwood.

After having read (and reviewed) this Series, I heartily recommend it to all as an example of the “honor, courage, and commitment” (for CM) indicative of the indomitable spirit of good people both enduring and overcoming extreme adversity of a cataclysmic world event. As Buck and his son Garth find their way toward each other through incredible odds, they join other very strong and principled folks in a journey to reestablish the world anew. There is humor, adventure, excitement, and a few bad guys. I will miss them all, but our intrepid authors left them where they needed to be. Anyone who has doubts about the importance of basic values, both of family as it should work, or the capacity to deal w/ hardships will be reassured. Besides it’s a helluva good read!

I just loved this series. Great characters that we come to love (or hate as appropriate). Tons of action and surprises and bizarre twists. A very unique "world ". Great read!

The final book follows suit from the 1st book through the 5th. Book 6, the conclusion of this series, is well written. The characters fight for themselves, their families and friends, their communities, and their fellow mankind putting their lives on the line without a thought of the risk for their own lives.
E.E. Isherwood and Craig Martelle have written a series that all that read it will enjoy it. I know I did and I hope you do too.

I really liked the first 4 books especially #4. Really liked the characters. But I don't know what happened to 5 and 6, it's like the author(s) decided to take the series in a whole other direction, and not a good one. This 6th book started out okay, but at about the half way mark it turned into a rollercoaster ride of suspense and frustration--which is good if you like that. But the last quarter of the book was just so far out of the realm of possibility that I couldn't even enjoy it.

I'm a chemist, I love sci-fi, but my 'FICTION' has to be something that makes sense. This was so convoluted that I couldn't even keep up with it. And the number of monster animals was ridiculous. If they are going to be "prehistoric" they should have at least resembled the types of prehistoric animals earth had--some did, but most didn't.

Could humans (average modern humans) survive in this environment? No way!!

Spoiler alert -- there is no way you can get away from a nuclear explosion that big (big enough to destroy the entire 60 mile collider) in 20 minutes. This is not science fiction it is science fantasy at it's worse.

I have loved this entire series and love that the authors tied up loose ends in this final novel - without it being forced or hurried. Even though I have all my answers - I'd love to see a new series about these fabulous survivors where they now live. The characters were fully developed and very likeable - or despised, as per their roles. Furthermore - these books were edited!!! I never had to figure out what the authors meant or stumble over misspellings, either of which can totally detract from the plot. Another plus - you don't have to wait on the next volume! Highly recommended.
