The story is a lot of fun. Sophie didn't want to marry. Her parents had never wanted children, but it still happened. When Sophie saw Tanner she saw just what she liked. But she still wasn't sure about having children. It all wound up with a lot of love and happiness.

Sophie and Tanner seem way different with their approach to life. She hides and embraces her fears. He does the opposite by doing his best to run away from what he can't handle. Something happens when circumstances throw them together. Perhaps they're not so different at all. I recommend you read Just Can't Fall for the Enemy: A Four Seasons Park Romantic Comedy and you will not be disappointed.

You tube star and ladies man, Tanner, has come to the small town of Huckleberry to film his latest episode. There’s a lot at stake as he’s trying to impress and gain a new partnership with the biggest YouTuber around. Sophie, a resident of Huckleberry, is protective of her town and very wary of their new temporary resident. It seems that every city he visits seems to have problems after he leaves. Sophie makes it her personal mission to be his “tour guide” and drive him right back out of town.

I enjoyed this one! It was so funny to see Sophie try (and fail) to scare Tanner off with her tricks. I was giggling as she was trying to think of the next thing to run him off. The two were so sweet together, and I loved the small town vibes. The ending was just THE BEST. It left me swooning. 🥰 This was definitely a fun, super sweet enemies to lovers romance.

I loved every moment I had to read this book. The romance warmed my heart, and the challenges both Sophie and Tanner face felt like chapters out of real life but with happy endings. Both struggling with trust and betrayal in their pasts, they face each other with suspicion and determination. Sophie is dead set on not letting Tanner's YouTube reporting ruin her little town of Huckleberry Creek, while Tanner's first accidental meeting with Sophie leaves him amazed that such an unusual woman actually exists. It was hilarious to see Sophie doing her best to discourage Tanner's efforts and Tanner's equal determination to not only get to know Huckleberry Creek but to uncover whatever secrets it is that Sophie is hiding. But when it becomes plain they are meant for each other, you wonder: how can they get together? Tanner never stays in one place for long, and Sophie's life as a forest ranger keeps her tied to Huckleberry Creek. He has fame and fortune, and she's a simple girl who needs a quiet life. It will keep you turning pages and excited to know the answer to how these two fascinating characters will face the challenge and work it out.
I received an advance copy of this book and was so delighted to have the chance to read it. It was excellent, and I look forward to reading more.

This is Gayle Myler, Brad Myler‘s wife, and I just finished the book and loved the ending when Tanner apologizes to Sophie. It touched my heart and I cried a bit . Sasha Hart had me invested in the characters at the beginning of the book, and my emotions went up and down with both the characters Tanner and Sophie. I love romantic comedies, I know in the end they will get together, but the way they ended up together was unique and delightful. I have already ordered Sasha‘s next romance novel, and looking forward to reading them all in the future! I have recommended it to Brad to read because what better way to know what women want than to read romance novels:)
