This is my first read by this author a definitely won’t be my last. This book was short sweet and absolutely perfect. L.M. Carr did an amazing job with this storyline and these characters. Loved every minute of this book. It was definitely the perfect Valentine’s Book. Full of love, passion and emotion. Savannah and Jack find their one in each other and their HEA and all it took was the help of meddling family members and a dating app to help them along. This is a definite must read and I highly recommend it.

I'm not really into reading novellas but I am into reading LM Carr. So when she has new writing I'm there to read them.

This was a quick read (hence novella). It was lighthearted and equally intriguing. The chemistry between Savanah and Jack was very well written to be novella. The speed of the book was great. I thought because of it being a novella, that it would be missing something, holes in the plot... But it wasn't. Again, it was written with great thought in the speed that it needs to be a novella. Great read!!

I read the blurb and knew I was going to enjoy this book. BUT I didn't expect to lose sleep over it! LOL I started and didn't put it down until the last word was read. (1:35AM) I was hooked. I really enjoyed the wonderful characters that made for an amazing story line. I really liked Savannah's daughter and parents' "attention" for HER. They would have made me mad. LOL I loved the relationship that Savannah had with her daughter. This is a full-length story in a novella! I'm sure I'll reread it for Valentine's Day!
(Jack could make me rethink single life. LOL)

I was so excited to see this author back with a new release and definitely was not disappointed in her latest creation. I don’t reach for novellas too quickly anymore but I’m happy I jumped at this one. This story had me laughing so hard at parts and played a vital “pallete cleanser” as I’ve been in a slump recently. Savannah was so relatable to me and I loved the relationship she had with her daughter. And Jack? Hot as sin…. Mix them together and watch the fireworks.

The Dating Mishapp by L.M. Carr is a fun, short blind date romance about a single mom who is thinking about the road not taken, as her adult daughter is exploring a blind dating app. Savannah is about to turn 38 and is wishing she had a man to share her life with, but is also concerned about the risks her 22 year old daughter is taking with a particular profile of an older man. She decides to make a profile, to try to match with the same guy. She matches with a fellow dog lover who she really connects with. Is he the same man her daughter is talking to? How can she be attracted to him? At the same time, she meets Jack, the town’s new Fire Chief, and the chemistry immediately sparks. Does she continue to pursue the mystery guy online, or give Jack a chance, despite the small town interference?

I really enjoyed this novella! All the characters are compelling, starting with Savannah and Kylie’s mother/daughter relationship. The banter and chemistry between Jack and Savannah was top notch. I also loved the plot twists that unfolded towards the end. The story flowed really well, and my only complaint is that the ending felt very abrupt, almost open. I felt like an epilogue or something would have been great. Maybe there will be more about them in another book.
