This book absolutely stole my heart! I love rom coms, and this definitely did not disappoint. The storyline was captivating and realistic. Jessica Gregory has a writing style where she just pulls you in and captivates you. The attention to detail is spot on. You feel the characters' emotions and that you are in the story. That is what I look for in a good book. I love all the characters.I love Vivian. She is smart, funny, independent, opinionated, stubborn, and driven. She is also a Starbucks girl, which is major props.Bryce is such a good guy with a heart of gold. He is also stubborn and a workaholic.Bryce and Vivian are pretty much the perfect couple. I wanted to smack them a few times, though, for the situations that they let tare them apart. Both had issues they needed to work on before they could come together and figure things out. This book also makes you realize that communication is key. It is a problem throughout the story. Also, do not just make assumptions without talking to each other first. This was my first book by Jessica Gregory and will not be my last. I look foward to continuing the series.

I skip the risque parts but enjoyd the story anyway.

Bryce is a hardworking, sexy, billionaire hotelier; Vivian is a “normal” (read: not uber-wealthy), beautiful columnist who writes luxury resort reviews for a magazine in NYC.

While both are undercover at a new resort in California, our two main characters feel a pull towards each other they can’t ignore.

There are mishaps and misunderstandings and travels and opportunities throughout this book.

I wanted a bit more spicy chemistry between these two! Initially, there was some good build-up, but then Bryce was just a bit too gentle and polite in the bedroom for my tastes.

There was a bit of a slow patch around 40% of the book, but I’m glad I stuck it out a it ended up being a fun and funny read!

I loved almost everything about this book. The characters, the plot, the chemistry.
The plot is great and fun and dreamy. I wish I was a travel writer.
The characters are interesting and the chemistry between Bryce and Vivian is unreal. I loved reading about their love story. The one thing that annoyed me was the lack of communication and Vivian’s rush to always run away. But I guess that is her quirk.
All in all I loved this book and can’t wait to read more books in the series.

It was a cute story but a tad too much explanation for chapters throughout the book. Thank you for the opportunity to read this book.

If you're looking for your next fun, summer read, or an in between read, then look no further because Room for Improvement is cute, spicy, and a whole lot of fun. Bryce Royal is a billionaire CEO, while Vivian Holte is an unlucky in love resort reviewer. They both share an evening together at a resort they are both staying at, but Vivian finds out who Bryce really is and is pissed. She can't stand being lied to. She ends up ghosting Bryce, which pisses him off, so he finds her on an app and leaves a childish, petty review on her page. I thought this story was funny at times, enjoyed the plot and characters, and loved reading this by the lake on our family outing.

This was such a good read! Very cute! I thoroughly enjoyed the story and their banter. Every girl deserves a Bryce from planet billionaire 💜
I waited until I was staying in a luxury resort for my staycation and it absolutely added to the vibes. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

2.0 out of 5 stars Long and Repetitive

I found it long, and repetitive. At times it felt like the author was trying to hit a word count minimum on an essay. Same formula used multiple times in the book to create drama. Someone misunderstands something, overreacts in a ridiculous way and then runs off so the other person has to chase them to explain so they can have their happily ever after. I also had a hard time with "American" characters who speak in British phrases and sayings, might just be me but it kinda takes me out of the story.
