I have been a fan of Ms Bowman’s books for a very long. I believe I have purchased nearly every book she has written.
This one was certainly not for me.
The heroine is a 32 year old nurse practitioner. That would lead me to believe she had dealt with more than one patient. And of those patients, I would imagine not all of them were kind and polite.
She came across to me like someone who is a high school student. “He teased me and was mean to me.” This is the brother of her best friend and she had known him since she was 6 years old.
Much of what I read was juvenile.
I apologize. I am sure it is just me. I will try another book by the author, but I simply could not get into this one at all.
After about 1/3 of the book I surrendered.
