About the author
Walking along the beach at the Jersey Shore you notice the boundless ocean on one side and the gorgeous homes on the other. This is Paul’s world! His weekends are spent coaching soccer and hockey games for his 4 kids or on the rare occurrence relaxing at the beach. Chopping wood, walking with his dog, Reeces, and skiing in the winter are a few of his other hobbies.
Mention Paul’s favorite teams the NJ Devils or the Pittsburgh Steelers and his eyes light up. Paul is a brown belt in karate and has run the Dublin Marathon but currently enjoys staying fit with his Beachbody Coaching.
Being an avid reader and always wanting to encourage and motivate others, Paul uses his talents and knowledge by coaching other professionals in helping them reach their potential. He begins each day sharing a smile and motivational quote with his team. Staying upbeat and positive is their office culture.
You can view his motivational videos and quotes on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram where he enjoys sharing them with others (or possibly he just likes to hear himself talk).
Some of his community involvement includes being the past President of the Jersey Shore Toastmasters, President of the Jackson Liberty Ice Hockey Board, and Jackson Planning Board member.
Paul is super proud of his Architectural Firm, being named the American Institute of Architects Jersey Shore Firm of the Year for 2017!

I have finished reading your book, and I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it. I was able to read from cover to cover in a few days and understand the concepts you were explaining. You made it very easy to understand for the average person. You gave concrete (pardon the play on words) examples of both projects done well and those gone awry, and how the latter scenarios could be avoided. (Boy, I wish i had had this book when I did my downstairs renovation which was my first one as a homeowner.) In addition, having other professionals' input gave various perspectives on how a renovation or other building project can be and their respective roles in it. I must say, I intend to obtain 3-4 more copies for people I know that will benefit from your book for their various projects.
