Her first novel, The Earthquake Doll, was inspired by her early experiences in post-war Japan while her father was serving in the Korean Conflict.

Her second novel, Gino's Law: For Every Action There's An Overreaction, published in 2016, is a contemporary mystery set in a quirky East Dallas neighborhood.
