This was a nice story fitting the thrope. The story was well-written and it provided a nice escape or a rainy afternoon. I gave it only three stars because it didn't really surprise me, it read as expected. I recommend it for anyone looking for an easy and uncomplicated read.

Though overall I did enjoy reading this book, there was a lot of miscommunication that needed more clarification between the two mcs. A lot of assumptions and not enough open clear communication. Too much to expect from an insta love book though lol.

Character breakdown;

Roxy: I liked her at first but this girl is confusing as all hell, she loves Connor but then leaves him not once but TWICE, and then thinks HE is the problem? Girl get it together!

Connor: I liked him he was the better half of the two, he was him and a girl he liked lol. Very book boyfriend material lol

I give this book 5.5/10 ⭐️ because of Roxy.

Perfect book boyfriend weekend read

This is so my kind of weekend read. It is my favorite trope - friends to lovers, fairytale style. And I want to be Roxy so bad. I am still waiting for my teenage crush to be perfectly honest, so this is totally my jam.

I love how she is able to built worlds and characters decently in such a short story, it's really incredible. And the stories never feel too rushed or unbelievable. If anything, it makes you want a little more.

I loved the dynamic of Connor and Roxy, and his passion. Perfect book boyfriend. Totally recommend for a weekend read.
